2026 is again pointed out for the foldable iPhone

Apple's work on foldable devices seems to be accelerating. According to the latest report by Haitong International Securities analyst Jeff Pu, the company will start production of a foldable device with a 20.3-inch screen in late 2025. This device will be followed by the foldable iPhone, which will be released in 2026.

Famous analyst Ming-Chi Kuo previously stated that Apple plans to release a MacBook with a 20.3-inch foldable screen in 2027. Ross Young also stated that Apple will launch a hybrid device with a 20-inch foldable screen in 2026 or 2027. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman also stated that Apple was working on a dual-screen foldable MacBook/iPad hybrid.

Pu's report shows that the company's work on foldable devices is accelerating. The report states that the visibility of Apple's foldable devices has increased significantly in supply chain controls.

Two different screen size options are on the agenda for the foldable iPhone

Pu stated that Apple is targeting the “ultra-upper class” with foldable devices. It is said that the company is considering two different screen size options for the iPhone: 7.9 and 8.3 inches.

As we mentioned before, the production of the 20.3-inch foldable screen hybrid device will start in late 2025. In 2026, preparations for the foldable iPhone will begin. It will not be a surprise to encounter new predictions and news on this subject in the coming period.
